We understand that no one enjoys fundraising events.  But due to devastating cuts to the California state education budget in recent years, school PTAs are increasingly needed to fill the gaps and help fund basic amenities such as classroom supplies, field trips, and xerox copies.   We need all of our Leals parent's and the greater community help to participate in fundraising activities such as:

Amazon Smile is a website operated by Amazon with the same products, prices, and shopping features as The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, the Amazon Smile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to Leal Elementary PTA. AmazonSmiles sign-in here.

Dinner Nights

Every month, we have partnered with selected Cerritos-based restaurants to host a dinner fundraising event. At the designated time period, the restaurant will donate portions of the received dinner receipts to the Leal PTA. Past supporters includes: Cold Stone Creamery, Panda Express, Islands Restaurant, and Chipotle.

Box Tops

Twice a year, the Leal PTA donates funds collected from participation in the Box Tops program directly back to the school. The program is as simple as cutting out tabs located on the top of some of your favorite products from the grocery store and sending them in to the classroom. You can find information, a list of products, and a collection sheet here.

Fall Festival

Every fall, the Leal PTA will host a night of fun games, foods, and crafts for our community in late October. The Leal PTA will setup and sell tickets to play fun games and activities at the Fall Festival as the fundraising effort. In addition, select food vendors invited to the Fall Festival will also donate a portion of their sales to the Leal PTA. Parent volunteers will be needed to help setup and take-turns to operate the games booths.
